Vikki Park Bio
Kia ora, I’m Vikki Park. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Counselling and am a member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC)
I work with adults across all stages of life and from diverse backgrounds. I offer a warm, respectful, and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and feel accepted as you are.
I support people with a range of concerns, including relationship challenges, sexuality and intimacy, perinatal and early parenting experiences, low mood, life transitions such as separation or divorce, and the everyday stresses that can feel hard to carry alone.
I have a particular interest in sexuality and intimacy. I offer a space where you can explore these parts of your life openly, at your own pace, and without judgement — including the aspects that can feel difficult to talk about elsewhere.
I am currently undertaking further study in this area through Sex Issues in Psychotherapy with the Institute of Relational Therapy. Alongside my counselling training, I also completed additional study in Sexual Health and Wellbeing through the University of Otago, which deepened my interest in supporting people with sexuality, intimacy, and relationship concerns.
I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 training with The Gottman Institute in clinical work with couples, and I am continuing to develop my skills in this area. I value the role that healthy, supportive relationships play in overall wellbeing, and the ripple effects this can have within families and close connections.
